Click . . . click . . . click (part 2)

I am always amused by the ways people find their way to my blog.

When I checked into this last someone had reached my blog after searching for male thong underwear. I assured everyone at the time that I had never posted about this fashion disaster, nor had I posted pics of said disaster. Thank goodness, there is far too much of that tripe out there.

So how had people reached my blog in the past 24 hours?

Well someone had googled my name . . . first and last. I promise you it wasn't me trying to see what the world was saying about me (although I am impressed with all of the references which do come up . . . I see that a former student has a reference to me on his myspace profile . . . I suspect he is mocking me but I'm not sure.) Once I stopped being impressed I wondered if I had my own little internet stalker . . . hmmmm

Another searched for: 'duff's menu' and ended up on my page. I can only assume it is a reference to my 2 posts about Duff's Famous Chicken Wings.

Yet another: Waterloo St Jacobe chocolate First of all, it is St Jacob's. Second of all, I don't think I have ever written about chocolate in St Jacobs. To be honest, I go there to go to the market. For chocolate there are far better places (although there is the Cadbury outlet store located near the market but I digress (as usual)).

Apparently at 12:47 someone else was also thinking about chicken wings because they searched for: cholesterol content, chicken wings. I have never written about that (although I have posted about wings). Really though, if you're consuming a pile of flesh and skin on a bone dripping with grease and sauce . . . are you really all that concerned about cholesterol? I wouldn't want to know because I know it would be bad, bad, bad!

Someone broke the chicken wing fascination and started a trend on my favourite topic du jour - drinking! A search for 'starbucks liqueurs' delivered someone to my site about the martini class. I hope that they tried the recipe for the Death by Chocolate Martini because it is a great one!

At 4:11 someone searched for 'summer juice spritzer' and ended up at my page about summer drinks. I am sure that they left happy because there is lots there (unless they are looking for non-alcoholic selections, in which case - why bother, really?)

Then at 5:13 there was another search about chicken wings! What is this all about? They were looking for: 'Duffs Wings calories' ARGH Just assume that if you have to ask the question the answer is 'far more than you should be enjoying on your diet, have a lettuce leaf instead.'  Seriously, buffalo chicken wings just aren't diet food, they are a treat to be enjoyed in moderation, moderation I say (although I wasn't saying that when Paul, Elise, and I scarfed back 50 of the amazing things! I only had 5, really . . .)

More alcohol queries . . . 'LCBO sangria spain' and what pops up? My page on summer drinks.

Look for 'sangsters rum cream recipes' and again, you will get my summer drinks page listed.

The rest of today 47 posters got here by some other means. I am curious about all of these searches though. There never used to be that many, and now . . . How does this happen? I guess I will never know.

So, to those chicken wing scarfing alcoholics out there who popped onto my page by mistake, welcome!
