Photo Hunt - Aftermath

PhotoHunters

Today's photohunt theme is aftermath. I had thought of posting a pic of the scales after my annual Christmas food and drink gorge but thought better of it.

While we always get some wicked thunderstorms here in southern Ontario, last summer there were some particular wild ones. I remember one in particular where my neighbours garden actually washed away into our back yard! Now that was powerful stuff.

After one storm we looked out back and saw something we thankfully don't get much of, hail . . .

. . . and then when I went out front this is what I saw:

The storm has come . . . the storm has gone. The aftermath.

What a terrific capture in your rainbow picture. Great take on the theme.

If you have time stop and see my photo hunt.

Hi Jerry, enjoyed your one liner :) Great photo theme selections. With that rainbow, it's looks like the calm after the storm. Great photos!

Have a great weekend!

Beautiful!
I have my linksy working now... come back!

Great catch for the theme! Cool rainbow photo. I have a photo of a double rainbow that I could have used ... hmmmm

Have a great weekend!

One of my aftermath photos is also a rainbow. I love the lighting on the buildings in yours. Gorgeous!

Another aftermath I could definitely get behind. Beautiful.

That's a beautiful rainbow. Have you found your pot of gold at the other end? :P

Gorgeous rainbow. Great photo of the hail also. Wonderful choice for this week's theme.

I was hoping that I'd see a rainbow. Perfect item for the theme and a great photo.

Jerry, Beautiful post of that rainbow... You are so clever! Love your post.

Thanks for popping by on photo hunt Saturday!

LOVE the rainbow, they are so amazing. (The post-holiday scale shot would have been funny too, but perhaps not quite so uplifting! lol)

Thanks Anne - no one is ready for the shot of me on the scales. LOL
