Some folks may not understand this feeling but if you live in a part of the country that suffers from severe winter weather you will.
Yesterday was a fairly mild spring day. Paul and I had our annual 'how the hell did we get the outdoor furniture into the basement last fall' fight. Once we recovered we sat outside, sipping our martini, and watched the sun go down.
It is the start of the fresh halibut in the store so Paul made a wonderful basil, lemon, and caper vinaigrette, and I grilled the halibut for dinner.
This morning I sat out on the terrace, listening to the birds chirp, for an hour with my coffee.
