You should have sent $$$ to the poor girl on the Ivory coast... don't you know they have control of all internet services?

At least in Atlanta they do!

Jerry

Sandi - you are probably right. That darn Joy has probably blocked my account. It serves me right for dissing her. I presume I'm not getting love from her.

I guess I had better call overseas for some help.

Welcome to my world :P

Jerry

Gail -= at least I can get a reliable internet connection! LOL

My comments for the French Toast...
Thanks for the recipe! It even looks pretty easy to make. I have made plain French Toast tons of times but never with vanilla. Interesting addition.

I grew up calling it Sugar Bread. My grandma always made it for me and we put sugar on top instead of syrup. I still can't eat it with syrup to this day.

And for the Spam...
And here I was thinking that this post would be a spam recipe :-)

Just the spelling and grammar errors alone should stop someone from reading the entire message.

Jerry

Susan - believe it or not but we used to eat SPAM when we went camping as kids. It has been a LONG time now though.

girasoli

Spam is a major food group here in Hawaii. I ate it as a kid also but I don't join in on the spam love fest now.

Jerry

Oh no - the first reason why I DON'T want to go to Hawaii!

I tried to post this to your Spam posting, but I guess the technical problems are permanent!

Anyhoo, I loved your Spam pix. And sympathize with your spam story. I've received a similar pitch several times, dating back to the days of snail mail. Then, it used to be from "a government official in Nigeria" pleading for help by letter. I guess it must work once in a while, or people wouldn't continue trying to pull the same scheme.

Jerry

Sandra - the technical difficulties seem to be isolated to those 2 posts - thank goodness.

Sadly, I imagine that the folks who respond to those e-mails are the ones who are lonely and can least afford to be separated form their money.
