I'm definitely trying this one. We loved last weeks soup which was the first one I attempted. All slow soupers attempts each week inspire me.


I'm so glad you liked it! That tip about the egg is a great one. I think I stopped adding the egg after I ended up with a clumpy mess.

I have thoroughly enjoyed making soup all winter!

I like the way you sliced the bean curd; I think I would also thinly slice the bamboo next time as well. And use a different mushroom, but I liked it without a lot of veggies, because that is how I like hot and sour soup.


It is a nice soup for experimenting - that is something that I can appreciate!


Stealing this one, including the fancy add-ins. Also, thanks for the tip on the slotted spoon...I just drizzle it but it doesn't quite have the same effect, so I am trying this next time, and I am trying this version very soon also. Thanks!


I was glad that I googled a bit and found that tip. It is amazing what a difference it makes in the finished soup.
