Sure, being a parent isn't an easy thing to do. I don't necessarily believe that parents are more stupid today then they were 50 years ago. I do think that in this era of communication every action, be it a smart one or a fail, is captured on video somehow and can be shared with millions (something a certain US Congressman should have thought of prior to tweeting pics of his genitalia to young women . . . but I digress). This means that your fails as parents can be captured and the world will giggle at your lunacy (and wonder, horrified, about the safety of your kids).
