My friends south of the 49th parallel celebrate Independence Day today - AKA the big cook out and firework day (do you know that there are an estimated 150 million BBQs in the US today ALONE and that some $ 211 in fireworks will be fired tonight?). I can only imagine how much beer will be quaffed!
It's been a tradition for me to post a trivia quiz on July 4th to see how well my readers know the US.

Good luck and enjojy those BBQs!
Check back tomorrow for the answers!
History major that I am...I think I have them all right except I have no idea who the first president was that was born in a hospital and I don't know where any of Ghandi's ashes are, let alone in the U.S. So weird as I recently read about the Molasses Flood in Boston so I got that right...last year I would have missed that one! Very fun.
