This week's Photo Hunt theme is 'fresh'. There are a TON of pictures that I could post but I decided to use some fresh pictures from our last trip to Italy. I have Italy on the mind since I just booked another trip yesterday.
Happy days!
Baba, fresh from the oven, in Naples.
A freshly made pizza in Naples - yes, it was every good as it looks!
A freshly opened bottle of wine at the B and B in Pienza. We opened lots of bottles of wine on this trip. One has to love a country where good wine is every bit as inexpensive as water.
A big plate of fresh pasta with wild boar ragu at La Porta in the tine village of Monticchiello.
Fresh artichokes at the market in Acqui Terme.
Freshly made breakfast served by our friend Diana, owner of the most wonderful B and B we have every stayed in.
All this fresh food is making me hungry! Great collection for the theme :)

That brings a smile to my face!
When is Italy not fresh on our minds?

A nice collection of "fresh" photos. I wish we could get artichokes fresh like that around here!

You really have a cruel streak -- after seeing these photos, I'm this close to running out, jumping on a train for Naples (or maybe Monticchiello, or Diana's B+B....)

We're sure hoping our artichokes does as well as they did last year in the garden. Mine is up and the coffee is on.

All that fresh food and drink is mouthwatering. The artichokes were particularly interesting as I have never seen so many for sale like that.

Fabulous fabulous post. Love all the pictures and yes got my heart skipping beats right now. Congrats on booking the tickets. I can't remember if you discussed when and where in Italy you are going. Oh I'm turning green with envy! So happy for you.

Your comments on the wine in Italy got me remembering a friend who did study abroad in France, Germany and Italy -- all places, her friends noticed, famous for wine... ;b
