One of our fall traditions is to make a trek to an apple farm not far from our house. When we get there we grab some bags (they come in 5 pound and 10 pound sizes), a wagon, and then head out into the orchard to pick as many crisp, juicy apples as we can stuff into those bags!
Last year the crop was dismal - this year the trees were loaded!
It took no time at all to fill our bags.
On our way back to the car we paid our annual visit to Pearl, the pot belly pig . . .
. . .visited the chickens and the goats. . .
