No power here all of yesterday . It came back on after midnight some time. Lots of large tree branches broken off all through our neighbourhood. What would we do without a gas fireplace and a gas stove?

I couldn't let another day go by without wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas Jerry. Eat lots and smile often. I have read that the ice storm is continuing to give this holiday season with some people not having power restored until after Christmas.

michele I am shocked at the number of folks who just feel part with the power failure. I guess I remember that lessons from the blackout. We all knew the ice storm was coming and what might happen. Paul and I got prepared for the worst - happily we weren't affected. Perhaps it is just the boy scout in me. LOL

Thanks bellini. I hope that you had a wonderful holiday as well.
