I have read the Diary of Anne Frank. this is the first time I see the entrance to her hiding place.

What a powerful bookcase...the staircase looks very, very steep.

door ~

I remember reading the Diary of Anne Frank when I was a secondary student in Malaysia. It's sad to find out her fate and amazing that that house has managed to survive all these years.

Wow! Beautiful!

Wow, it must be so moving to visit the actual house. I have goosebumps just thinking about it. Great choice for 'door'!

Great choice for the theme. Such a tragic yet in many ways uplifting too short life.

One of the Most Famous doors in History!
Brilliant choice for this week's photohunt.

I have not been to Amsterdam but I have read about Anne Frank. It's in my bucket list to visit this city.
Come by mine.

Sue St Clair

Simple and powerful image. And yes thankfully no more polar vortex or January in Canada ;) Between that and the ice quakes I've not heard of before ... The media do like to come up with crazy names for weather related events eh :)

It was quite a moment when we walked through that door! It brought so much of the book I had read many times into a new reality.

Thanks for popping by on photohunt Saturday.
