Sometimes one just has to go with old standards (and in new ways as well) as this is a favorite with my boys on cold winter nights, they would eat this every week if I would cook it for them! The changes sound workable.


It's funny how those old classics remain in our hearts and minds. I was digging through a pile of junk in the basement and found an old, yellowed recipe card . . . one of my favourite dishes as a child. Guess what I am making this week????
