Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and we had our annual feast with mom. I had to work during the day so we did most of the prep work on Monday; the rest we pulled together when we finished work.
We started with appetizers and drinks in the family room (after mom arrived 45 minute slate. SIGH)
At least she showed up with her "Irish" look ...
An assortment of Irish cheeses, stuffed mini baked potatoes, and Irish cheddar dip.
The martini I made was unusual but wonderful - Cucumber, Mint.
Paul had the table set before I returned from work.
After our appetizers were tidied up we had the same main course we've had for many years . . .
Glazed corned beef
Honey roasted carrots
Colcannon pie
After the table was cleared we had dessert: an Irish Apple Tart with Shortbread Crust
It all looks wonderful and like so much fun. Love your Mom's holiday spirit!! She's a cutie. :-)

LOL - Mom has an entire box of bobble things to wear. I think it is the teacher in her . . .
