Today is the eve of the Labour Day Weekend. On this day last year we were embroiled in a bargaining war with the government. While I had booked the Labour Day Weekend Friday off for vacation those plans went by the wayside. I was stuck in a hotel in TO as we tried to get a deal. When I finally got away I threw everything in the car, picked up Paul, and headed away.
This year I have a new job and we are not bargaining right now.
I actually feel a bit relaxed. Shhh don't let anyone know or more work will come my way.
Today Paul and I will pack up the car and head off to our favourite campground once the cat sitter arrives. There is no rush and little stress. I like that.
