Of course, given the previous few days it was not without a hitch.
We were up at the crack of silliness on Sunday. Dressed, packed, and ready to go before the car arrived. We were at the airport in plenty of time. Dropped our bags off, got through security . . . it was all good.
Then things got interesting.
We were loaded, ready to take off but we sat.
It turns out that someone from maintenance noticed an engine leaking. The worked to repair it and an hour later we were ready to go. The pilot revved the engines and we backed up from the gate.
Then we sat.
Maintenance was concerned with how the engine performed.

Once we were settled in our rental car in Edmonton we decided we needed some food. I noticed a Dim Sum restaurant between the airport and the hotel so off we went.
Lunch was awesome!
When we got checked into our room at the hotel we were beat. A power nap was in order.
We had dinner reservations at a Cajun restaurant downtown which was great.
Monday morning I woke up to an amazing sunrise.
. . . and a few hours later I was engrossed in my meetings . . .
